Learnings from the CommuniCity Pilots: Needs-based Innovation

Online Session: Community engagement for green and digital urban transitions in cities and regions
Friday, 18 October 2024, 10:00-11:30 CET, ONLINE
CommuniCity will co-host the online workshop “Community engagement for green and digital urban transitions in cities and regions” at the upcoming European Week of Regions and Cities. Drawing on insights from the Go-Li.EU, Urban Transitions Mission Centre (UTMC) and CommuniCITY projects, the workshop will emphasise digital solutions and technological advancements. Participants will explore effective citizen participation methods, share learnings, and collaborate on future solutions and enhancements. This event aims to foster a deeper understanding of community engagement’s role in driving digital transitions.

Tech together - How to co-create tech solutions with marginalised groups

CommuniCity is participating in the Open Living Lab Days 2024!
Join us for the Tech Together workshop, an interactive and engaging session designed to equip participants with human-centred co-creation methods that put marginalised communities at the heart of the solution-making process. This hands-on workshop will immerse you in the world of your target group and teach you how to use co-creation methods for creating technological solutions that improve their societal position.
The methods featured in this workshop have been tested and refined through CommuniCity’s pilot programmes, where technological solutions were developed to address social challenges. These methods are now part of a co-creation toolbox available on CommuniLab.
